Under the agreement, the SAWT ‘Voice of Lebanon ’ channel will broadcast political, economic and sports bulletins direct from the Sky studios, seven days a week, from six am until eight pm.
SAWT General Manager, Sam Manasseh told Arab Today that, “the agreement with Sky News will allow SAWT Radio to broadcast news to its public, which will give the station the opportunity to have a place in the Arab media through cooperation with a professional institution.”
In response, Director of Sky News Arabia said, Nart Bouran said, “Sky News Arabia is very interested in Lebanese audiences, which have important position in the Arab media and on the political map. This agreement will give us the opportunity to find our way to the Lebanese public through radio, as well as our satellite channels and social networks.
