Mahrazyah Obeidi receives threats

Member of The Constituent Assembly for Tunisia, Mahrazyah Obeidii Member of The Constituent Assembly for Tunisia Mahrazyah Obeidi has received serious threats after her alleged wage was leaked on social networking websites. The rumour said that she earned 6000 dollars a month as well as generous expenses.
Obeidi denied the rumours. She confirmed that she only earned 3700 dollars a month and said that her role deserved this amount of money. She also said that she would upload a copy of her pay slip on her Facebook page.
This comes following the publication of a new law concerning grants and expenses for the National Constituent Assembly. Members of the NCA earns an estimated 4630 dollars a month and can claim up to 2000 dollars for expenses per month. They are also given a car and can get 200 liters of free petrol per month.
