Head of the Arab Water Council Mahmoud Abu Zaid was elected on Thursday as deputy chairman of the International Hydrological Program (IHP) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The program aims to adopt visions and priorities of the Arab region in the field of water and environment to face challenges in the two domains.
