Arab League chief receives leader of Sudanese Ummah Party

Arab League (AL) chief Nabil El-Araby met on Wednesday with leader of the Sudanese Ummah Party Al-Sadek Al-Mahdy.
The meeting took up the crises plaguing Sudan and the role of the AL on this score.
In press statements after the meeting, Mahdy said efforts are now exerted to end the current conflict in Sudan through a political solution.
He expressed hope that the AL would work to help reach an end to civil war in Sudan.
