Bahrain took part in the summit which was held in Uganda in solidarity with the refugees.
Bahrain Ambassador to Bahrain and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahmane bin Rashid Al-Khalifa attended the summit.
The two-day summit which started yesterday aimed to highlight the Ugandan model of tackling the refugee issues and find the necessary funds to deal with the humanitarian plight of refugees and anticipate the potential increase of refugees. Uganda is currently hosting 1.2 million refugees from many countries
