Bahrain Airport Services Company (BAS) has been awarded the Safety Award 2017 by Bahrain International Airport Operators, Bahrain Airport company (BAC), for the best handling of safety incidents.
The company has participated in six cases of the best handling of safety incidents by its dedicated employees innovatively in 2017, citing a case that occurred last October during a Gulf Air flight when suddenly appeared thick smoke from an engine, Abdul Hussain Hassan team acted promptly by extinguishing the smoke and controlling the situation, and his interest and immediate action towards safety at Bahrain International Airport was appreciated
