
ALGIERS-French Prime Minister Manuel Valls started Saturday afternoon a two-day visit to Algeria to co-chair, with his Algerian counterpart Abdelmalek Sellal, the 3rd session of the Algeria-France High level Intergovernmental Committee (CIHN).
Accompanied by a delegation of ten ministers, Valls was welcomed upon his arrival in the international airport Houari Boumediene by Abdelmalek Sellal and members of the government.
The session, to bring together members of both governments, will be an opportunity to review the state of bilateral relations and perspectives to develop them, and exchange views on international and regional issues of common interest.
Both parties will also assess economic cooperation between the two countries and discuss means to further consolidate it.
Many institutional agreements relating to several fields and economic partnership agreements will be inked during this session.
