HH Shaikh Nasser praised the unprecedented achievement of Al-Iman School in the Arab Reading Challenge 2017, having surpassed 41,000 schools in the Arab world, elevating Bahrain’s name among countries developed in the field of education.
This came during His Highness’ visit to Al-Iman School, Girls Section, where he was welcomed by a number of officials from the Ministry of Education, Chairman and members of the Executive Committee of the School’s Board of Trustees, members of the educational and administrative staff and a number of students.

His Highness expressed his great happiness for the school’s success in this great Arab forum, which was the result of constant endeavours by members of the school faculty, stating that this reflected on the advanced levels demonstrated by the school’s female students who participated in the Arab Reading Challenge.
During the ceremony hosted by the school, His Highness said: “We are proud of this amazing educational feat, and are delighted to share your joy in winning, knowing the value of achieving victory.”

His Highness affirmed the necessity of continuing hard work to garner more achievements and to remain on top, honouring Bahrain in all forums and competitions. He insisted on strong entries into the coming editions of this competition, to maintain this achievement and strengthen it with successive victories.

HH Shaikh Nasser called upon the female students to hoist the honourable banner of the Bahraini women as strong elements in Bahraini society and a source of strength, playing an effective and vital role in advancing development and serving our dear nation.
He concluded his speech by wishing for further success and happiness, adding that the students’ outstanding achievement has increased ambitions and expectations for future accomplishments, given the students’ passion for winning and excellence.
