HM King ratifies two laws, issues law decree

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Law Decree 28/2017 amending some provisions of Law Decree 19/1976 regarding officially-prescribed state insignia.

Law Decree 28/29017 stipulates the creation and addition of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Insignia aka (Wesam Al-Quwa) as one of the officially-prescribed State Insignias under clause 1 of Law Decree 19/1976, next in rank to Hawar Insignia aka (Wesam Hawar). The BDF Insignia is composed of one grade and conferred upon BDF officers and NCOs on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the BDF.

His Majesty the King also ratified and issued Law 29/2017 and Law 30/2017:

Law 29/2019 approved Bahrain’s joining the Agreement on Third Party Indemnity for Damage Caused by Aircrafts, approved by the International Conference on Aviation Law in Montreal dated 2nd May 2009, associated with this law. Law 30/2009 approved Bahrain’s joining the Agreement on Third Party Indemnity for Damage Caused by Unlawful Acts of Interference that includes Aircrafts, approved by the International Conference on Aviation Law in Montreal dated 2 May 2009, associated with this law.
