His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister today received the Chairman of Bahrain-Thailand Friendship Society, MP Chusak Limsakul, and his accompanying delegation.
HRH the Premier welcomed the Thai delegation and wished them a successful visit to boost the bilateral friendship and cooperation ties.

HRH the Premier lauded the Bahraini-Thai relations which are flourishing in the various fields in view of the solid bonds and mutual keenness on consolidating the basis for the distinctive model of cooperation that satisfies the aspirations and the interest of both countries. His Royal Highness lauded the significance of intensification of visits exchanging between the officials in both countries to boost the frequency of cooperation and promote it to vaster levels and new areas to reap the benefit for both countries and peoples.

HRH the Premier said the friendship ties between Bahrain and Thailand are robust and deep-rooted and we aspire for more visits by Thai delegations to Bahrain and opening new horizons of bilateral cooperation in various sectors. HRH cited the important role undertaken by the Bahraini-Thai Friendship Committee in developing the bilateral ties, especially as it includes the membership of distinguished parliamentarians in both countries. HRH the Premier stressed the necessity to proceed with the invigoration of the bilateral agreements, mainly in the economic, investment and commercial areas.

HRH the Premier praised the inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and its significant role in boosting the bilateral ties and the coordination and mutual understanding regarding regional and international issues.

HRH the Premier lauded the increasingly-growing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ties with the Kingdom of Thailand and the Association of Southeastern Nations (ASEAN)-member countries, also praising the advancement and progress of Thailand in numerous fields.

 

The Chairman of the Thailand-Bahrain Friendship Society expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, noting HRH the Premier’s keenness and care to developing the amicable bilateral ties, praising the considerable role undertaken by His Royal Highness in the establishment and development of the Bahraini-Thai relations.

MP Limsakul also praised His Royal Highness’s efforts in bolstering the cooperation between the GCC countries and Thailand in particular and with the ASEAN countries in general. He said the Bahrain-Thailand Friendship Society meetings constitute the opportunity to achieve more progress in terms of the bilateral ties and to attain vaster horizons in these ties, lauding Bahrain’s progress and renaissance at all levels, especially in the field of legislation.

He reiterated his country’s keenness on boosting the cooperation with Bahrain with which it has excellent historic constructive cooperation ties in various fields, pointing out that the Parliament of Thailand will support any effort to boost the level of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
