Hussein Mahdi comes first in Desert Challenge car racing

Racer Hussein Mahdi came first in the second round of the motor rally "Desert Challenge 2014" on Friday.
Racers Abdulaziz Al-Safar and Salem Al-Dhufairi placed second and third respectively at the same "open category".
30 racers, divided into three categories, took part in the race organized by Basel Salem Motor Racing Club.
In the second (8 cylinder) category, racer Abdulmohsen Abdulreda topped the list, followed by racers Bader Baqer and Mohammad Boqamaz, respectively.
In the third (6 cylinder) category, racers Salem Al-Hajri, Nawaf Al-Qattan and Abdullah Hodhood won the first top three places respectively.
The third round of the race would be held early next month.
