Accompanied by Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Chairman of Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM) Mohammed Saafanm, Nasr met with head of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) Mohammed al Sewedy.
Nasr expressed appreciation to UAE support for Egypt over the past period through co-funding a number of development projects in the north African country.
The current visit aims to follow up the outcomes of the President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's meeting with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the oil-rich country's pledge to allocate 4 billion dollars in support for Egypt.
During Wednesday's meeting Nasr reviewed with Sewedy a number of projects with regard to Sinai development project including establishing a treatment plant.
Concluding the meeting, the minister and the UAE official agreed on dispatching an ADFD mission to Egypt next week to probe setting up a three-phase treatment plant as part of Sinai development project.
