King Abdullah Prize to honor inventors

The secretariat of the King Abdullah Prize to honor inventors and the gifted (Takreem) will hold a press conference on Saturday to announce the opening of nominations for the prize for the year 2012. The secretariat will also launch an official portal, for the prize on the Internet, at the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Under the auspices of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, annual prizes will be awarded to 10 winners including expatriates in areas of science, technology and other intellectual contribution related to inventors, the secretariat said in the statement, the Saudi Press Agency said on Friday.
