Kuwait's nominee elected ALECSO's Director-General

Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation, ALECSO, on Thursday elected the State of Kuwait nominee Dr. Saud Al-Harbi as ALECSO's Director-General.
Dr. Al-Harbi won 15 votes out of 21 ones, succeeding his fellow citizen, the late Dr. Abdullah Al-Muhareb, in voting held on sidelines of ALECSO's extraordinary session. Al-Muhareb passed away in May, according to Kuwait News Agency.
The Tunisian-based ALECSO, established in July of 1970, has some 22-member countries who work together to better education and culture in the Arab region.
