
Pakistani Minister of Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Khan arrived here Sunday coming from Sharm el Sheikh and wrapping up a tourist tour.
He participated in the activities of the fifth Conference of Eight Developing Islamic Countries (D-8).
During his visit to Cairo, the Pakistani official met with the the Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil where they probed means of promoting bilateral industrial and commercial ties via exchanging visits as well as experts and coordinating stances in the framework of international and local organizations especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Islamic Development Bank.
The Pakistani minister is expected to depart Cairo Sunday evening en route to his country.
