Shaikha Mai takes part in Fujairah Tourism and Investment forum

The Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa today took part in the 4th GCC Tourism and Investment Forum in Fujairah, UAE held under the patronage of the member of the Supreme Council and ruler of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi. The forum is being organised in cooperation with the GCC Chambers of Industry and Commerce. The forum is to shed light on various topics that include tourism development in the GCC and focuses on the consolidated efforts towards coordinating tourism constituents in the region aimed at marketing them. Participants in the forum emphasised on the relationship existing between the economy and tourism, and the need to provide sources of attraction in the GCC. Meanwhile, forum speakers presented a variety of experiences the likes of the Tunisian experience and the Malaysian experience. On the sidelines of the forum a tourism exhibition was held.
