Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan attends Arab- Islamic-American Summit

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, stressed, at the Arab Islamic American Summit that the Unites States, led by Donald Trump, President of the U.S., has taken great steps towards building an effective strategic partnership with the Arab and Islamic worlds, while maintaining its effective role in dealing with the challenges that threaten the security and stability of the Middle East.
His Highness said that this historic summit "is a clear Islamic, Arab and American message to those attempting to use religion to stoke confrontations between Islam and the US, or to establish confrontational tendencies between religions, cultures and civilisations, to serve personal goals and malicious plans at the expense of international security and stability and coexistence among different peoples."
Sheikh Mohamed said that the meeting between President Trump and Arab and Muslim leaders, in his first international visit since becoming US President, "is an affirmation of the joint will to tackle threats facing the region and the world, while highlighting the great respect for President Trump’s Administration for the Arab and Islamic worlds and its desire to co-ordinate mutual positions."
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi stressed that this unprecedented gathering between Arab and Muslim leaders with President Trump, represents the beginning of a new stage in Arab-Islamic-American relations, while having a significant effect on co-coordinating their joint efforts to face extremism and terrorism and the causes of regional instability.
He also praised the vision of President Trump and his clear position on supporting and restoring the stability to the Middle East, in co-operation with the leaders of the region, after years of tension and disturbances.
Sheikh Mohamed added that the UAE has always desired to activate the framework of co-operation and constructive dialogue with its partners and friends from around the world, with the U.S. at the forefront, and for effective participation in all efforts and initiatives on bilateral and group levels.
"This should lead to a more secure, stable and prosperous world based on the ultimate belief in the importance of international co-operation, to combat those dangers facing the world that cannot be dealt without joint international efforts, he added.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed stressed that Saudi Arabia’s hosting of this summit clearly highlights the exceptional international stature of the Kingdom as the heart of the Arab and Islamic world, as well as its considerable regional and international efforts and its record of taking historic stances to serve regional and international security and peace.
He added that the wisdom of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia his sharp visions added a special importance to the Arab Islamic American Summit, and contributed to strengthening its effectiveness and establishing positive relations between the Arab and Islamic worlds with the US.
