Sisi to open several development projects in Assiut
Assiut - Arab Today
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is scheduled to open later Tuesday several development projects in the Upper Egypt governorate of Assiut.
The president will inaugurate a new Assiut power station with 1,000 megawatt capacity.
The president will also stand on the mechanism of implementing the new Assiut barrage and its hydropower station.
The project is meant to improve irrigation in five governorates.
The EGP4bn project will be finalized in September 2017.
