
Defense and Military Production Minister Sedky Sobhi on Monday inaugurated a number of army-affiliated fuel management units that include oil and liquid production units of the main analysis and oil production labs.
Sobhi also gave the go-ahead for upgrading the project of Al Jabal Al Ahmar fuel station to be the Armed forces' first smart station using smart cards.
The defense minister gave the green light to open a heavy transport units with a capacity of 4500 tons/trip that will contribute to offering transport services to different civil sectors in the country.
Meanwhile, Armed Forces Logistics Authority gave a speech on efforts being exerted by soldiers of the authority.
Later in the day, Sobhi met with a number of Logistics Authority fighters and had an iftar meal with them.
He also honored some of the authority members.
