Sultan launches new Kalimat publishing website

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, launched the new website for Kalimat Publishing House, the award winning publisher specialising in Arabic Children's books, on Wednesday. Present at the event were H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Founder and CEO of Kalimat Publishing Group, and Dr. Mohammed Saber Arab, Egyptian Minister of Culture His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan launched Kalimat's newly re-designed website at the publisher's stand on the side-lines of its participation in the 32nd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which is taking place from the 6th to the 16th of November 2013. Speaking about the launch of the new website, Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi said, "In the six short years since we first established Kalimat, it has gone from strength to strength. Now with well over 140 original Arabic children's titles to its credit, we are extremely proud to be launching this brand new website that will allow us to interact with the community and accommodate their needs on a far greater scale. The new Kalimat website features a comprehensive catalogue of the publisher's books, which includes a detailed synopsis of each book as well as a facility for visitors to rate each book and leave comments, an invaluable tool for both parents and educators who are searching for books for their children or students.
