The UAE youth have made a difference and come a long way, thanks to the trust and support given to them by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
In a statement he made to mark International Youth Day, Sheikh Hazza said that armed with knowledge and skills, the UAE youth possessed the leadership qualities to prove their potential.
The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan took good care of the youth, as he believed they had a vital role to play in the development of the nation, he added.
"We need to translate this year's theme 'Youth Building Peace' into a tangible reality by giving them all the support they need to realise their aspirations for a world free of violence, wars and tragedies. The youth are affected the most by the chaos, destruction and subversive agenda," he remarked.
