5 bird flu suspect patients quarantined in Gharbiya

Five suspected bird flu patients have been kept under observation at the Bird Flu ward of fever and chest hospitals in Gharbiya, Mahalla and Tanta, Deputy Health Minister Mohamed Sharshar said Saturday.
The blood samples have been sent to health ministry's labs, Sharshar said.
Earlier, five people out of 10 other suspected patients were tested negative for the virus, he added.
