
Health Minister Sadok bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi today sent a cable of congratulations to Saudi Health Minister Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabia on the success of this year’s disease-free hajj season. Mr. Al-Shehabi hailed the efforts of the Saudi Health Ministry to ensure pilgrims premium services. He paid tribute to the Saudi Government for providing necessary healthcare for pilgrims and conducting successful heart surgeries. He lauded the Saudi leadership led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for ensuring the success of the hajj season and streamlining measures for them to perform their rituals. Mr. Al-Shehabi commended the Bahrain Hajj medical Mission for assisting and treating Bahrain pilgrims so as they could return back to Bahrain in good health. The Saudi health authorities had drawn up a preventive contingency plan to pre-empt any outbreak epidemics, in line with the international health protocols, and ensure the early detection of contagious diseases.
