
Health Minister Sadok bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi today met his Jordanian counterpart Dr. Ali Hayasat at Bahrain International Airport VIP waiting lounge as they were both heading to Mascat, Oman, to take part in the 60th session of World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean (October27-30), and discussed cooperation. The two sides stressed cooperation with all ministries, regional and international organisations to promote the health sector in Bahrain and Jordan and upgrade medical services. They also underscored the importance of pursuing cooperation to promote health services in both countries.
