Minister of Health, Sadiq Abdul Kareem Al-Shehabi inaugurated this morning at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre “Health and Wellness Expo 2013,” with organization by Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Centre. The minister highlighted that the Expo is considered a great opportunity to market the products of exhibitors, saying that its title \"health and wellness,\" is an indication that the exhibited foods will enhance human’s health within their priorities, stressing the need to provide such exhibitions which revive the marketing movement. The exhibition includes products for natural skin and beauty care, health products, in addition to diet and fitness and exercise. It also presents an opportunity for exhibitors to promote their business relationships, in line with the existing and increasing interest and demand of modern health services. There is a great range of distinctive and specialized companies in the health and wellness area participating in the Expo through a sophisticated vision. The visitors will be able to have several health check-ups, as well as a lot of educational information about how to practice an active and a healthy life. The visitors will also be able to enjoy discounts and attractive offers on sports and health clubs membership. On the other hand, Ministry of Health and BDF Hospital are participating in the Expo with wings of numerous medical specializations, where a medical team will perform free check-ups for blood-pressure, and diabetes for visitors. Meanwhile, “Health and Wellness Expo 2013,” is supported by Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Health and Tamkeen.
