
On behalf of Health Minister, Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Care and Public Health, Dr. Mariam Athbi Al-Jalahma, and Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning, Dr. Mohammed Al-Awadhi, today paid a visit to the Central Governorate in the presence of a number of Health Ministry's officials.
The visit comes in line with the directives of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to communicate with the citizens and to listen to their complaints and suggestions.
Health Ministry delegation, during the visit, met scores of Central Governorate's citizens in the presence of Central Governor, Ahmed bin Mubarak Al-Fadil.
Dr. Jalahmah addressed the audience and conveyed Health Minister's greetings and wishes of success to achieve objectives of the visit.
She underscored the healthy development comes as a result of the government's efforts made in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, led by HRH Premier and support of HRH Crown Prince.
She stressed that all complaints and suggestions will be considered and appropriate solutions will be developed in the interest of citizens.
She noted the main health services and projects on the agenda of Health Ministry to be establish, including the establishment of physiotherapy center in Hamad Kanoo Health Centre, expansion work in Hamad Kanoo Health Center and Sitra Health Center, as well as plan for the establishment of Sitra Maternity Hospital.
Health Ministry's strategy and challenges facing the continuity of provision of health services were also reviewed, in addition to the latest developments on Ebola virus disease.
Health officials listened to the complaints and suggestions of Central citizens.
Central Governor praised Health Ministry's efforts in providing health services to the citizens, adding that citizens' suggestions will contribute to the development of the level of health services in Bahrain.
