He commended the efforts of the centre in implementing the system fully, which, he said, reflected positively on the services enjoyed by patients, calling for the need to finalise the plan to apply it in all heath facilities across the kingdom and involve the patients in assessing it.
iSeha includes system applications that cover all levels of health care services such as the unified Electronic Medical Record (EMR), ePrescription, primary medical health-care, in-patient and out-patient services, emergency case management, radiology and medical scan, Intensive Care Unit and laboratories diagnose utilities.
The implementation framework includes establishing data processing centers, and providing change management support, healthcare solutions and other cutting-edge services to operate the national health system in Bahrain
Through the I-SEHA programme, the Ministry of Health aims to improve the quality and increase the efficiency and speed of services for patients.
The Ministry of Health signed a contract with Indra, a Spanish company leader in implementations of Health Information Systems, to operate I-SEHA programme.
