Boubyan Bank to celebrate World Diabetes Day

Boubyan Bank announced it was organizing an event to celebrate the World Diabetes Day on November 14, under the patronage of the Minister of Health, Ali Al-Obaidi.
The celebration will include the launch of the first Kuwaiti Arabic-speaking cartoon about the causes of diabetes and means of prevention, said Director General of the bank's administrative affairs Waleed Al-Yagout on Sunday.
Al-Yagout noted the importance of organizing campaigns to bring awareness towards diabetes and its dangers on the society, especially with the increasing numbers of patients.
Early discovery and treatment of the disease can have positive results, such as the prevention of different health complications caused by diabetes including heart problems, blood vessels and arteries diseases, he explained.
