Child in Sohag suffers from bird flu

The results of a blood test of a three-year-old child from Sohag came out positive confirming his infection of the bird flu.
The boy is receiving treatment at a hospital in Sohag and his condition is stable.
This case takes the number of bird flu cases in 2014 to 17.
The Health Ministry calls on citizens who deal with poultry to head immediately to the nearest hospital in case bird flu symptoms appeared.
