All of us desire to have an envious jawline. But we hardly give a thought to ways of achieving one. Nay, we aren't pointing at any surgical procedures or magic potions. The solution lies in your kitchen! Like the rest of your body, your jaw muscles too require some exercise to stay fit, lean and taut. And this happens through the chewing action. But maximum foods we consume on a daily basis like bread, cooked vegetables, lentils, tea, coffee or juice are hardly supportive of the cause. These things require zero or minimum strength of your teeth to break them down. In fact at times you can almost swallow them. Chewing on hard foods is the solution. Raw fruits and vegetables like apple, pear, carrot, beetroot, raddish can be nibbled on regularly. One can also feast on nuts like almonds, pistachios, walnuts which provide a good chewing experience. Apart from fruits and veggies some other foods that are a boon for your jaw muscles are corn kernels and sugarcane pieces. Another trick is chewing a gum. As munching on a chewing gum puts eight different muscles of the face and neck in action, it proves very useful. It also works on reducing double chin. The chewing action not only helps in achieving that dream jawline, but also has some other important benefits. It maintains healthy gums and also increases the saliva flow. This eventually leads to less number of cavities. According to science, these foods are natural cleaning agents that act as a toothbrush.
