
The Egyptian medical delegation specialized in preventive medicine are continuing efforts during their visit to Equatorial Guinea to take part in the plan to prevent Ebola threat during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Egyptian medical delegation traveled to Equatorial Guinea after coordination between the Egyptian Partnership Agency for Development at the Foreign Ministry, the Egyptian Embassy in Malabo, the Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Egypt and the Arab Contractors' Company in Equatorial Guinea.
According to CAF, around 100,000 spectators are expected to travel to watch the tournament, and this has increased fears of a possible outbreak.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) reports that 6,856 people have died from the disease in more than 18,000 cases mainly in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone
