
The Emirates Post Group has organised a blood donation campaign at its head office in collaboration with the Blood Bank, Ministry of Health. Among the donors were Ibrahim bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer, Abdullah Al Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post and Sultan Al Midfa, CEO of Empost and Operations Network, along with staff members and post office customers. The campaign was part of the corporate social responsibility initiatives of Emirates Post Group. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Under-Secretary at Ministry of Health, Medical Practices and Licenses, said that the aim of such campaigns was not only to collect blood but also to spread awareness of the benefits and value of blood donations for society in general and patients in particular. He also revealed that U.A.E. nationals hold the top position among the 93 nationalities who regularly take part in blood donation drives across the country.
