Ethiopian PM holds talks with UNAIDS executive director

Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegne had talks on Tuesday with Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNAIDS Michel Sidibe. In statements to reporters following the meeting, Sidibe commended the tremendous progress Ethiopia has made in reducing HIV/AIDS infection rates by 90\\%, compared to a continental average of 50\\%. On Monday, Sidibe held talks with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tewodros Adhanom on means of boosting cooperation between the Ethiopian government and the UNAIDS in the field of fighting HIV/AIDS.
