
The 81st regular meeting of the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers started here on Wednesday to discuss a host of technical topics relating to the Executive Board.
In his speech during the opening of the two-day meeting, the Director General of the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja said that the gathering focuses on common purchase, pharmaceutical tenders, supplies and equipment at hospitals and pricing of medicines.
"The meeting discusses improving and developing skills of labor and action at the Executive Board and focuses on Ebola virus and e-gate among the GCC information centers and Executive Board," he added. The gathering, Khoja noted, tackles preparations for holding the 78th conference of the GCC Ministers of Health that will be hosted by Saudi Arabia next February.
He expressed his gratitude to Kuwait for its support to the Executive Board's activities and programs.
