Health and Housing Minister Adel Adwi announced on Tuesday the results of the health survey conducted for Egyptian pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia.
He added that the aim behind conducting this health survey is to define the seasonal flu infection rate among pilgrims and early detection of cases infected with the corona virus as well as following up the possible cases infected with the corona virus.
This could help in taking appropriate preventive measures to stop the spreading of the seasonal influenza disease and the corona virus.
In press statements, Adwi asserted that all samples came out negative for all kinds of the seasonal flu viruses and also for the corona virus.
