
A memorandum of understanding has been signed Monday in Algiers between Ministry of Health; Population and Hospital Reform and the American group General Electric (GE), to improve services at the emergency departments in four teaching hospitals of the capital. An experience has been launched since a year between GE group and Mustapha-Pacha teaching hospital in order to improve the healthcare services provided at the emergency department. In this regard, Health Minister Abdelmalek Boudiaf said that this experience was positive and will be repeated in another teaching hospital. He also underlined that the teaching hospitals of Mustapha Pacha, Beni Messous, Bab El Oued and Nafissa Hamoud (Hussein Dey) are concerned by the cooperation. Other partnership agreements were signed previously in medical field between the American group and the Ministry of Health.
