Efforts are on to ensure healthy and safe food are made available to consumers Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Shihhi, Minister of Regional Municipalities said.
He added that “Your Food Is Honesty” project is an electronic project for health control through internet.
The project has a special receiver for the iPad to enhance the efficiency of food control.
He added that expansion and improvement of the quality management system started in 2012 and that the Ministry is currently expanding the system and promoting it by applying the ISO 2015-9001.
The expansion includes all departments, the Ministry’s HQs and the Directorates General in all governorates.
He affirmed that the Ministry regularly provides food and water labs at the governorates with qualified human resources and modern devices to detect any pollutants or poisons at food and water samples.
