Kuwait hosts GCC health ministers\' conference on Tuesday

The Council of GCC Health Ministers will hold the 76th conference in Kuwait next Tuesday, at the outset of the Council's 39th session under the slogan: "Together to Combat Non-communicable Diseases - A Developmental Priority." Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, Director-General of the Council of GCC Health Ministers' Executive Office, said that the Council will discuss detailed reports on the activities of the Executive Office and its achievements during the previous session, and will follow up the issued decisions and recommendations, and the latest scientific developments aimed to improve health services in GCC member states. He pointed out that the Council session thirty-eighth has many achievements, including the winning of a new award from the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) for achievements of quality for the year 2013 - Platinum category, and the best brand name in 2013.
