
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalid Al-Sahlawi discussed on Thursday with a visiting Turkish medical delegation a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to develop cooperation in the areas of health. Al-Sahlawi praised during the meeting, the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in recent years, adding that both sides tackled common health issues and activation of health cooperation, especially regarding Turkish hospitals approved by the US accreditation body which specialize in the treatment of several diseases including Orthopedics, heart diseases and cancer. He said that the two sides agreed that Turkish doctors perform operations at Hussein Makki Juma Center for Specialized Surgeries, Razi Hospital and heart surgery centers, besides the visit of another delegation from different disciplines to hospitals and health centers of the Ministry of Health.
