
The prime minister of Pakistan's Focal Person on Polio, Ayesha Raza Farooq has praised the U.A.E. wise leadership for launching the Polio Vaccination Campaign in Pakistan, calling it a valuable aid from a friendly country.
She said that U.A.E.'s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's initiatives to provide humanitarian and development aid are praiseworthy at all levels, pointing out to the campaign launched by General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces to vaccinate children against polio virus in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), under the slogan "healthy and bright future for all,” which aims at vaccinating over 3.6 million Pakistani children against the disease during the three months of June, August and September in 2014.
