42 Palestinian children from Gaza arrived here last night in order to receive medical treatment in German hospitals.
A statement issued by the Embassy of the Palestinian State to Germany said that the arrival of children was coordinated through the Embassy and the Association of Palestinian Physicians and Pharmacists in Berlin and Brandenburg in association with Friedensdorf Foundation which sponsored their treatment and welfare throughout their stay in Germany.
The statement added that a medical crew from Gaza and Germany, the Medical Advisor of the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, accompanied the children in their trip.
The children were received by representatives from the Palestinian Embassy, Palestinian communities and students union in Germany in addition to representatives of Friedensdorf Foundation and German hospitals which sponsored their medical treatment.
It is worth mentioning that hundreds of Palestinian children had been killed or wounded as a result of the Israeli assault on Gaza Strip where Israeli occupation forces committed atrocities against civilians there.
