
Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awad said that the health situation in Gaza Strip is under control, pointing out that the Israeli aggression left a large number of wounded persons who suffer from permanent disability, according to the Palestinian Information and News Agency "WAFA".
This came during a meeting held by the Palestinian Minister of Health with heads of participating delegations at the Medical Labs Association Conference in his office in Ramallah, WAFA said.
Awad said that "our people in Gaza Strip were capable of absorbing the trauma and brutality of the war. A dermatologists delegation is due to visit Gaza to assist Palestinian Health Ministry crews in the Strip's hospitals in the wake of dermatological disease outbreak amongst displaced people in displaced-accommodation centres.
He said that the two medical delegations sent by the Ministry to Gaza had affirmed that the situation in the Strip's hospitals was under control.
