
Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Medical University of Bahrain hosted a dinner banquet marking its 10 year anniversary, in the presence of top Bahraini officials, including the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Health Sadiq bin Abdulkareem Al-Shehabi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) Professor Riyad Y. Hamzah, Ambassadors, Heads of universities and hospitals and a number of RCSI's affiliates.
RCSI Bahrain President Professor Sameer Otoom lauded the efforts exerted by the members of RCSI's Bahrain academic and administrative bodies and their contributions, pointing out the university's achievements during the last decade.
A number of students and employees were honoured in the ceremony, which featured an Irish folkloric shows.
