Standing Committee for International Humanitarian Law held here today its 10th meeting under the chairmanship of Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority who is also Chairman of the Committee, in the presence of Vice-Chairman of the Committee Fayez Al-Ahmer and its members.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed ways to activate the work of the Standing Committee of humanitarian law and the sub-committees, and give a briefing on the Committee's participation at the 3rd meeting on strengthening legal protection for victims of armed conflict, which was held in Geneva.
