The Senegalese Health Minister announced on Monday that six treatment centers would be established to strengthen safeguards against the Ebola outbreak.
Awa Marie Coll-Seck added that 50 quarantine centers would be opened for suspected Ebola patients in the West African country.
On Nov. 10, Senegal reopened its border with Guinea, which has been hard hit by a deadly Ebola outbreak, and resumed flights to Ebola-stricken Liberia and Sierra Leone, Senegalese President Macky Sall said.
Senegal shut down its borders with Guinea in August.
Meanwhile, the preventative diseases department in Guinea also said in a statement that 728 Ebola suspects have been discharged from hospital since December 2013.
The number of cases has decreased recently and they can overcome the epidemic within three months, Sakoba Keita, head of the preventative diseases department in Guinea's ministry of health said.
At least 2,199 of these deaths were registered in Guinea, where the current Ebola outbreak was first recorded.
So far, 6,928 people have died from Ebola and more than 16,000 have been infected, according to the World Health Organization's latest report.
