A pill, which is produced from tomatoes can protect sunbathers from wrinkled skin and can make tans last longer, its makers have claimed. Skinfinity pills, created by Professor George Truscott, of Keele University, contains an antioxident called lycopene, which makes tomatoes red and helps fight cancer and heart disease. But the substance can also reduce damage to the skin from ultra-violet rays and keep it looking young and healthy, the Daily Express reported. Truscott said that one pill is equivalent of eating six to eight tomatoes and works by eating up oxygen to stop it from producing wrinkle causing chemicals. He said lycopene works with our pigmentation so it helps tans last longer. From ANI
