Wait for five to 10 seconds and slowly bring yourself to your original position. Begin with 10 and gradually increase the repetitions. Another advanced version of the calf-raise exercise is to stand on one foot and rest your other foot behind your supporting leg. Keep your hands on your hips. Slowly raise your body onto your feet. Wait for five to 10 seconds and then, slowly return to your original position. Repeat this exercise with the other leg. Begin with 10 and gradually increase repetitions.
