
Yoga is an Asian-rooted sport which depends on relaxation and peace of mind and has enormous benefits for human health. Yoga which forms unity between mind and soul is widely spread in Middle East, especially in Kuwait, due to its great positive impact on the human well-being. Two trainers at a specialized Yoga center in Kuwait said in remarks to KUNA that the sport is highly beneficial for curing back aches, cancer, heart diseases, besides, strengthening inner body muscles and stimulating balanced peaceful state of mind. Head of a Yoga Health Center Pauline Hing told KUNA that the Yoga plays a great role in increasing natural immunity in the human body, decreasing sugar levels in the blood, lowering high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels and improving the health status of the human body in general. She added that Yoga started in Kuwait 15 years ago and turned to be more attractive during the past five years, pointing out that the new generation is highly educated about the nature of Yoga and its positives impacts. Kuwaiti Yoga trainer Warqa\' Al-Shaiji said Yoga helps in relaxation of all body nerves, beside contribution to strength and flexibility of muscles and proper breathing. Moreover, the sport fights many diseases namely asthma, joints\' pain and some psychological ailments such as depression. Yoga, which evokes no violence, is a practice that requires sound effort and helps in fighting back disease (disc).
