Egyptian actress Najla Fathy expressed her pleasure for the love of her fans, saying that she felt their love to her after the illness of her husband Hamdy Qandil. She said that a large number of people were keen to follow his health conditions during the recent period, saying that it is a major evidence that they appreciate the value of his media message.
She added, in an interview with "Arabs Today", that she suffered from critical health conditions a year ago and her husband was keen to support her, saying that it is her turn to support him during the current conditions. She expressed her happiness for her honouring during Aswan Cinema Festival, while she apologized for not attending due to the illness of her husband.
She praised the Egyptian cinema saying that it performed a major role to resolve a large a number of issues in the Egyptian community. She stressed that she likes to be with the members of her family. She expressed her love to her grand daughter, saying that she strongly loves music.
She stressed her keenness to follow the daily news and to read new books, saying that she does not plan currently for any new artistic works, as she focuses on meeting the demands of her family. She stressed that she is satisfied over her career since ots beginning. She praised the Arab fans, describing them as honest fans who respect the artist who respect their minds.
She stressed that she keeps good relations with a number of artists, including Mervat Amin and Posey. She added that she loves to hear songs for Lebanese singer Sabah and Egyptian superstar Umm Kalthoum. She expressed deep frustration over the recent terrorist attacks that targeted Egyptian Copts on Tanta and Alexandria, saying that Egypt will not forget its martyrs.
