Tunisian actress Hind Sabry expressed her pleasure for the honoring she received during Cairo Film Festival, saying that it is great pleasure to win Faten Hamama Award for her works as an actress. She praised Egyptian high-profile actress Faten Hamama, saying that she managed to change the vision of the community to the profession of actress.
She added, "There is no equation for her success but I consider it is like waves and the first I did not have experience in reading the script and know the good or not. It is good luck that I started with the director Mufidah Al-Tlatli in the middle of a technical family. After moving to Egypt and searching for the spread, I experimented with many roles and personalities to learn the strengths and weaknesses."
She expressed her pleasure for the positive reactions she received over her role in her new film “The Treasure”, saying that the film achieved her dream to perform the role of Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt.
She praised, in a statement to “Emirates Voice”, her cooperation with Director Sharif Arafa in the new film, saying that it is not the first time to cooperate with Arafa, as they worked together in “Al Jazeera” film. She added, “I appreciate my cooperation with Director Sharif Arafa, as he leads the staff in a good way.”
She added that she was dreaming to perform the role of Egyptian Queen Hatshepsut since the beginning of her career, saying that she managed to achieve this dream through her participation in “The Treasure”.
She stressed that she prefers to play the role of strong women who enjoys special personality, saying that she is extremely happy for performing this role during the film. She stressed her keenness to diversify her roles, saying that she turned to use a number of historic references before filming the role.
She also expressed her happiness for the positive reactions she received from the fans in all over the Arab world, saying that the TV drama show managed to attract the audience during the drama season of Ramadan. She stressed that the fans’ reactions to the series surpassed her expectations whether social media networks or direct interaction with fans in the streets.
She stressed her support for the Arab drama works, saying that such works perform a major role to gather a large number of superstars from all over the Arab world under the umbrella of only one work.
She added, in a statement to "Arabs Today", praised the Tunisian presence in the Egyptian artistic works, saying that she supports the works gathering superstars from different Arab countries. She added that the matter should not be limited to artistic works but extends to the other fields to support the idea of Arab unity.
